The Obama Justice Department reported that the new proposed gun laws will not slow down gun crimes at all (that is because criminals and dangerously deranged individuals who committed all the mass murders with guns will not register their guns).  One action that should be taken by Congress, is to pass legislation that requires therapists and hospitals provide the mental health records of dangerous “deranged” individuals to a federal law enforcement data base controlled by the FBI, to ensure that dangerously deranged individuals will never be issued a permit to own a gun or be given permission to purchase a gun at any gun show or gun shop (that does not necessarily mean Wounded Combat Veterans under medical treatment for PTSD).    

 

Not one gun control law being proposed by Obama would have prevented the massacre of innocent children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.  The gun control legislation being proposed by Obama are in violation of the 2nd Amendment and are only designed to determine who the law abiding gun owners are in America and where the guns they own are located.  The type of gun registration being proposed by Obama has always been the first step used by dictators like Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Castro in confiscating guns owned by all law abiding gun owners in their countries.

Below is a copy of the 2nd Amendment letter from Senators Paul, Lee, Cruz and Rubio to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, opposing any further legislation against “the American people’s right to bear arms.”  I think this is a strong letter and clearly states the four Senators’ 2ndAmendment positions.  Please note that Senator Rubio voted in favor of Senator Inhofe’s successful amendment against the U.N.
