In the below listed article from Breitbart News, Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign made a donation to CAIR.  CAIR has strong ties with the Muslim Brotherhood International Terrorist Organization and Hamas as explained below.  The US State Department has designated Hamas a Foreign Terrorist Organization.  The Muslim Brotherhood has been outlawed and designated dangerous International Terrorist Organizations by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Bahrein, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia.

In 1994, CAIR  was created by and for The Muslim Brotherhood International Terrorist organization, as its public relations front organization.  The Muslim Brotherhood also instigated the creation of Al Q’ieda, ISIS, Hamas, and other terrorist groups.  In 2014, CAIR was designated an International Terrorist Organization and outlawed by the United Arab Emirates.   

CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce terrorist groups like The Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, Al Q’ieda, Hamas, and Hizballah.  CAIR leaders have made statements affirming that their aim is to establish Islamic rule in the United States.” (WND Exclusive by Art Moore May 3, 2016).

It is reported in the below listed Breitbart News article, that 12 CAIR officials donated $9000 to Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign.  It is also reported in the same Breitbart News article that Palestinian Ambassador Feda Abdelhady Nasser, the Deputy Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, donated $250.00 to Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign.  The mutual close relationship between CAIR and Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar Congressional Campaign is a fact, that can no longer be disputed.  

After a 15 year FBI investigation, and subsequent indictments, guilty verdicts were rendered in the Holy Land Foundation For Relief trial, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator and 10 of its leaders were found guilty or deported from the United States, because they perpetrated the largest terror financing scheme in US history.  As a result of the convictions in that trial, the FBI terminated any association with CAIR, and discontinued working with CAIR.  The FBI specifically identified CAIR as “a Hamas front group in the United States, and an entity of The Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, a secret body set up to advance the Hamas terrorist agenda.”  

The below listed CAIR Leaders and Founders were found guilty, imprisoned, deported, or were unindicted co-conspirators:

1) Ghassan Elashi one of CAIR’s Founding Directors was convicted of terrorism and is in federal prison.

2) Rabith Hadid, a CAIR fundraiser, was blacklisted by the Treasury Department for financing Al Q’ieda and other terror groups, was arrested on terror-related charges and deported to Lebanon.

3) Abdurahman Alamoudi, a CAIR Director is serving 23 years in federal prison for plotting terrorism. 

4) Randall “Ismail” Royer, a former CAIR Communications Specialist, is serving 20 years in federal prison in connection with the Virginia Jihad Network which he led. 

5) Bassam Khafagi, a CAIR Director of Community Affairs, was arrested and pleaded guilty to bank & visa fraud in supporting Al Q’ieda and advocating suicide attacks on Americans. 

6) Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of CAIR, was wiretapped by the FBI and evidence of his plot to disguise payments to terrorists as charitable giving, caused the FBI to sever ties with CAIR in the US. 

7) Laura Jaghlit, a CAIR Civil-rights Coordinator, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation as part of the FBI investigation into terrorist financing, money laundering, and tax fraud. 

8) Omar Ahmad, Founder & Chairman Emeritus of CAIR, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. 

9) Nabil Sadoun, a CAIR Board Member, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation and was in a Hamas Front organization; he was deported to Jordan by the Justice Department. 

10) Muthanna al-Hanooti, a CAIR Director, whose home was raided by the FBI is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case.  

“Despite claiming to cooperate with Law Enforcement Agencies, CAIR was actively working behind the scenes to mislead and deceive the FBI and other Law Enforcement Agencies in support of terrorist suspects – and have even cultivated Muslim moles inside Federal Law Enforcement Agencies who tipped off FBI terror targets” (moles were inserted in Law Enforcement Agencies during the 8 years of the Obama administration ). Twelve CAIR officials donated $9000 to Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign, and the Palestinian UN Ambassador Feda Abdelhady Nasser donated $250.00 to Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign to support that campaign.  Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar ‘s father, Mohamed Yousuf al-Najjar, was employed by, and served the PLO and the Palestinian Authority, Gaza, for 24 years. Mohamed Yousuf al-Najjar took “early retirement” in April 2018, two months before his son’s Democrat primary election, and returned to San Diego.  

In a Washington Post 1996 interview, Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s father, Mohamed Yousuf al-Najjar stated he was proud of his father, Mohammed Yousuf Najjar (aka Abu Yousuf), the leader of the Black September Terrorist Organization, who planned and  executed the horrific1972 massacre of 11 Israeli athletes in Munich, Germany during the 1972 Summer Olympic Games.  

Mohamed Yousuf al-Najjar went on to say about his father in that interview with the Washington Post, that he “refused to accept the killing athletes was more repugnant than the violence of Israeli occupation.”  Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar has never repudiated that statement by his father, about the horrific massacre of 11 Israeli Olympic athletes. 

The donation by Ammar Yasser Campa-Najjar’s Congressional Campaign to CAIR, exposed in the below listed Breitbart News article, and the donation by CAIR officials and the Palestinian UN Ambassador’s to Ammar Yasser Campa- Najjar Congressional Campaign, reveals the close association, and should give all American citizens, and especially San Diego voters in the East County concern.

Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar’s Campaign Donated Money to CAIR

The campaign of Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar, who is running against incumbent Republican Rep Duncan Hunter Jr. (R-CA) in California’s 50th congressional district, donated $650 to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in 2017, public records show.

As Breitbart News has noted:

In 2007-8, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. That case, in turn, led the FBI to discontinue its work with the organization. In 2009, a federal judge ruled that the government “produced ample evidence to establish” the ties of CAIR with Hamas, the Palestinian terror organization . The United Arab Emirates labeled CAIR a terrorist organization in 2014 (a decision that the Obama administration opposed).

In 2015, following a radical Islamic terror attack in San Bernardino by a husband-and-wife team who killed 14 people and wounded 22 others, CAIR ensured the terrorists had an Islamic burial, and provided legal assistance to their family. Hussam Ayloush, the director of CAIR’s Los Angeles chapter, told CNN that U.S. foreign policy was partly to blame for providing the attack.

It is not clear why Ammar Campa-Najjar’s campaign donated the money to CAIR. Federal Election Commission (FEC) records list the purpose of the contribution as a “civic donation,” made to CAIR’s Washington, DC, office.

The Islamist Money in Politics project (IMIP), a program of Daniel Pipes’ Middle East Forum, reported last week that Campa-Najjar had received nearly $9,000 in campaign contributions from CAIR officials.

Campa-Najjar is a Christian, and has condemned the terrorism committed by his grandfather, Muhammad Yusuf al-Najjar, who was involved in the notorious murder  of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Germany.

Still, it is unclear why CAIR officials would have donated to him — and why his campaign would have donated to CAIR.

IMIP research fellow Oren Litwin told Breitbart News, via e-mail: “Politicians clearly can’t control who donates to them; still, it is interesting that prominent Islamists have chosen to support Mr. Campa-Najjar when other Arab or Muslim candidates, such as fellow Californian Omar Qudrat [a Republican running in California’s 52nd district], receive zero donations from Islamists. The question is, what makes Mr. Campa-Najjar so much more attractive to them?”

Breitbart News also reported Wednesday morning that Palestinian ambassador Feda Abdelhady Nasser, who is the Deputy Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine [sic] to the United Nations, donated $250.00 to Campa-Najjar’s campaign in 2017.

Campa-Najjar is running close behind Hunter in recent polls. Hunter and his wife were indicted earlier this year on federal charges of misusing campaign funds; Hunter says the charges are “politically motivated.”
