The Free Enterprise System in these United States has built the most effective economic engine in the history of mankind, and for over 236 years the opportunities in the Republic has been a magnet for those who immigrate to the United States with the promise of freedom and economic success.  That hope for economic freedom has been immortalized by Emma Lazarus’ sonnet “Give me your tired and your poor, your huddle masses yearning to breathe free.”  The legal immigrants from all over the world have immigrated because of the opportunity the Free Enterprise System has provided for individuals who are willing to “work” to attain success.

Unfortunately, the current resident of the White House has been dividing Americans, creating class warfare by portraying financially successful Americans, who attained their success by hard work and self-sacrifice, as greedy.  Obama continues to sow the seeds of class warfare by telling those at his rallies that very successful Americans have earned enough, and calls for tax increases on hard working Americans, so their earned incomes can be redistributed.  He doesn’t tell his followers, that if the entire incomes of the top 2% of American income earners were confiscated, it would only fund the government for 8 days.  The Marxist philosophy of redistribution of wealth has never worked.

For over the last 90 years, Socialism has been an economic calamity and its failure has been demonstrated by the economic failure that system created in every nation it has ever been tried.  History has demonstrated that Socialism has not worked in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic of Communist Russia, in the Nationalist Socialist Party of Nazi Germany, in the Peoples Socialist Republic of Communist China, in the Popular Socialist Party of Communist Cuba, and in the Eastern Block Socialist Republics of Communist East Germany, Communist Bulgaria, Communist Yugoslavia, Communist Romania, Communist Czechoslovakia, Communist Poland, Communist Latvia, Communist Estonia, and Communist Lithuania.

The flawed Obama Health Care Bill Socialized medicine & took control of 1/6th of the US economy, Obama turned over control of General Motors & Chrysler to unions on a silver platter with no hope of every recovering multibillion dollar government loans, he has given billions of taxpayer dollars to 7 bankrupt incompetent green energy companies owned by principals who made political donations to Obama’s Presidential campaign (Solyndra, Ener 1, Spectra Watt, Abound Power, Beacon Power, Eastern Energy, & Amonix Solar), he has added 590,000 public sector employees to an inefficient and bloated government bureaucracy bringing the number of employed civil servants to 2.15 million, while at the same time decreasing the size of the US military by 200,000 personnel when they are engaged in combat, and the Obama Administration is decreasing the DOD budget by $1 Trillion which Defense Secretary Panetta said “would gut our ability to defend ourselves”.  The Obama Socialized Welfare Program reversed the Clinton Work for Welfare Program that was getting so many people off of welfare, and for the first time in history, the Obama Administration has been advertising on public media for Americans to apply for food stamps, and has driven the annual cost of the Food Stamp program from $17 billion to $80 billion.

The Obama Administration Socialist policies has been creating an increasingly dependent class of Americans that pay no income taxes at all, get 90 weeks of unemployment, file for Social Security Disability when their 90 weeks of unemployment has run out, and are mirroring Greece’s dependent population rioting in the streets.  The left of center liberal media establishment ignores history’s lesson that Socialism has failed in every country it has ever been tried in, and continues to promote the poisonous seeds of class warfare emanating from the the Obama Administration.  The below listed article was posted on the Web site of The Conservative Club.
