Freedom of Religion in the US Armed Forces has been under relentless attack by Obama administration’s civilian appointees in the Department of Defense (DOD).  Those civilian appointees have written directives forcing the Social Experiment on Diversity into the conservative US military culture, knowing full well that Flag and General Officers must follow the orders of DOD civilian appointees, and that they can’t oppose those directives that violate their religious beliefs; the only way to protest is by resigning.

Although military regulations specifically prevents members of the US Armed Forces from wearing uniforms to any political event, recent DOD directives have been promulgated by civilian appointees at DOD, in violation of Military Regulations.  Those directives have instructed Commanding Officers of military commands to authorize the Color Guards of the United States of America and members of the US Armed Forces to wear their uniforms in gay pride parades.  Over the past 5 years over 200 senior Flag and General Officers with valuable combat experience have been forced out of the military because they opposed certain Obama administration initiatives.

Some of the DOD directives have violated military Chaplain’s Freedom of Religion by restricted their distribution of bibles, has violated Chaplin’s freedom of speech by preventing them from reading letters from their Cardinals in their pulpits to their parishioners, and has forced Chaplins to authorized same sex marriages ceremonies in their chapels when it violates their deeply held religious beliefs. 

An Obama administration’s DOD directive violates the religious beliefs of not only Chaplins, but also violates the religious beliefs of many members of the US Armed Forces, by forcing many of them to sit thru lessons on Islam, but no military personnel are being forced to sit thru lessons on the Catholic, Jewish, Protestant, Mormon, Hindu, and Buddhist faiths.
