Connie Stevens is a true Renaissance Woman. She has managed to remain a timeless, classic, all around entertainer while perfectly positioning herself as a business woman poised and ready for the new millennium. While Stevens’ credits include that of film star, film maker, television star, the Broadway stage, concert performances, and recording artist, this savvy entrepreneur and businesswoman still manages to be a dedicated mother and tireless volunteer. It is her versatility that has given her such “Staying Power”.

Stevens’ popularity began as a teenage icon through the 60’s and continued in the 70’s when she became a household name as “Cricket Blake” in the long running mega hit television series, Hawaiian Eye. It was this endearing and classic role that brought Stevens’ to worldwide fame. Following her success on his Warner Bros. series, she became one of the most popular “fantasy” role models for millions of teenage girls across the country. Subsequently, Stevens’ went on to star in the popular series, Wendy & Me, with the legendary George Burns.

As a teenage idol and role model for America, Stevens’ starred n several feature films that showcased her talents in both comedy and drama. Parish, Susan Slade, Two on a Guillotine, Grease II, Never To Late, Palm Springs Weekend, Young and Dangerous, The Party Crashers, Drag Strip Riot, and Rock-A-Bye-Baby (in which she was discovered by Jerry Lewis) were just a few of the films that helped to heighten her popularity.

Stevens’ musical side also surfaced in the 60’s. This lead to the formation of a young vocal group called The Foremost, featuring three male backup singers who went on to become The Lettermen. Stevens’ went on to perform with The Three Debs, and eventually went on to a solo career producing such hits as Sixteen Reasons and Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb, as well as a host of other singles and albums.

Stevens’ received critical acclaim for her controversial role in the ABC-TV movie of the week, The Sex Symbol, a thinly disguised portrayal of the life of Marilyn Monroe and more recently guest starred in the hit TV series, Baywatch, playing Pamela Anderson Lee’s mom. She has also been seen recently in Clueless, the new series based on the hit film. In addition, she co-stars in the upcoming feature film, James Dean: Race with Destiny. Stevens’, the film maker, just completed producing and directing A Healing, a feature film documentary dedicated to the women who served in the U.S. / Vietnam conflict. A Healing follows a three week reunion journey through Vietnam of 100 women in 1995, who served in this conflict some 26 years ago. Stevens’ journeyed with them to find closure to this bizarre interlude. This award winning documentary is their story played out with compelling sensitivity, trust, compassion and drama. Introduced by Jack Valenti, President of the Motion Picture Association of America, A Healing will be shown to the thousands of participants and attendees of the historic unveiling of the U.S. Women in Military Memorial Wall.

Stevens’ continues to wow audiences with sold out concert dates worldwide, performing to SRO houses in every major city including Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New York, and locations overseas, with rave reviews. Stevens’ heralded reputation as an entertainer has gone down in history; she has performed at the White House, for heads of states, kings and queens, global sporting events and the U.S. Armed Forces. She has also entertained the military with the USO during the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Golf conflicts.

Stevens, the Broadway actress, made her mark on stage, creating the role of “Sophie” in Neil Simon’s Star Spangled Girl. This was a landmark performance.

As a natural offshoot of this phenomenal success, Stevens has recently designed and opened The Garden Sanctuary, an executive day spa and boutique in Los Angeles, founded the principles that catapulted her cosmetics empire into the major leagues. Offering a full array of services and luxurious treatments, the spa will also offer clients a spa menu, an elegant retail boutique, and other amenities in an elegant, comfortable, private garden like environment.

Stevens’ philanthropy has been widely recognized having devoted countless hours supporting and spearheading fundraisers for charity, including her project Windfeather, which provides college scholarships for Native American youth and CES/Dignity of Jackson Hole, Wyoming supporting the mentally and physically challenged.
