In the below listed article, speaking on the insanity of allowing Iran to self-inspect its own development of nuclear weapons, when the world community has already been aware that Iran has been cheating in the development of its nuclear weapons program for the last 12 years, an endorsed and elected Combat Veterans For Congress, Congressman Lee Zeldin, Maj-USAR (JAG) (R-NY-1), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, called attention to the duplicity of the flawed inspection regime, in the final draft of the International Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement. 

Despite the fact that 79 % of all Americans oppose the dangerous Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement, and despite the fact that Iran’s leader, states on a weekly basis that Iran intends to destroy Israel and The Great Satan (the United States), 41 Democrat Senators have knowingly put the US in the nuclear cross hairs of the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world.  Incredulously, while Iran has been killing members of the US Armed Forces with Iranian manufactured road side bombs in Afghanistan, and refuses to release 4 Americans prisoners held on trumped up charges, Obama has ignored those facts, and is partnering up with the largest state sponsor of terrorism, who for the last 37 years, has been murdering more Americans than all the other terrorist groups in the world combined. 

In 13 years, Iran will expand the range of its three stage solid propellant Saul Space Rocket, from 2,200 miles, and estimate by 2028 they will develop an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), with an expanded range of 9000 miles.  So 12 years after Obama leaves office, Iran will be able to simultaneously strike 100 cities in the US with their 3 stage solid propellant nuclear tipped ICBMs.  Obama’s negotiation of the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement has put the US in the above stated serious danger---the nation is no in more danger than it faced on 14 years ago on 9/11.  Obama’s actions are treacherous, and in violation of his oath of office. 

Obama’s execution of the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement will facilitate Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons, will release $150 billion to Iran to develop Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs), and to fund expanded worldwide terrorist activities.  Every American should contact their Senators and Congressional Representative and demand that they put pressure on Congressional leaders of the House and Senate, to employ every creative parliamentary procedure possible, to prevent Iran from receiving $150 billion, and to oppose the flawed Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement that is the most dangerous National Security threat that the Republic has ever been faced with in its 239 year history. 

Over the last 239 year, the primary responsibility for every elected American President has been to protect and defend the lives of all American citizens.  Unfortunately, the extremely dangerous Iranian Nuclear Weapons Agreement, entered into by the occupant in the Oval Office, is a direct threat to the lives of the children and grandchildren of every American.  By permitting Iran to develop nuclear weapons to place atop its ICBMs, to develop ICBMs with a range of 9000 miles that can strike the US, and releasing $150 billion to Iran to fund its terrorist program, Obama has endangered the safety and security of the Republic, and demonstrated that he is not fit to continue to serve in the office he was elected to

Iran Deal Does Not Provide for 24/7 Where Necessary, When Necessary Inspections

Washington, DC –Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, C – Shirley) released the following statement in response to President Obama's assertion that the Iran nuclear deal provides for 24/7 where necessary, when necessary inspections:

“When President Obama announced the Iran nuclear deal, he stated that inspectors will have 24/7 where necessary, when necessary access to Iran’s key nuclear facilities. Putting aside that Americans aren't even permitted to participate on the inspection teams at all, it is simply 100% untrue that the IAEA inspectors will have 24/7 where necessary, when necessary access. It is further informative to read the very convoluted, prolonged and multifaceted process of overcoming access denials outlined in the text of the deal. As just one example, if the 3 member Advisory Board is convened, each party gets to appoint one member, but there is absolutely no guidance whatsoever on how the third person will be selected other than that the person must be "independent". While the administration is doing their best to sell 8 percent of the agreement to the public, it is so critically important that we do not ignore the other 92 percent of the story. The American public through their elected representatives in government must insist on sending our negotiators back to the table with a stronger hand."
