Lambert, USMCR http://www.LambertForCongress.com of Nashua, New Hampshire is running in the primary election to seek the Republican nomination to run for the 2nd Congressional District of New Hampshire currently represented by first term Congresswoman Annie Kuster (D-NH-2) who voted in lock step with Pelosi to pass one bill after another without even reading the bills, supports the flawed Obamacare Law & voted to prevent elimination of the law, voted to cut retirement pay & benefits for US Military personnel, voted consistently to increase the national debt to $17 trillion, and voted to cut the DOD budget against support for members of the US Armed Forces in the midst of the war in Afghanistan.  Gary’s father was one of 8 children and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.   Gary’s mother was a German immigrant who arrived with her family after barely surviving the ravages of WWII.  Gary Lambert was born on October, 27, 1959 in Providence, Rhode Island and was raised in Hope, Rhode Island.  Gary was raised in a modest, middle-class family that worked hard to make ends meet like many families with tight incomes.  Gary graduated from Scituate High School in Scituate, RI in June 1977.  In September 1977, when Gary matriculated at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, he was the first member of his family to attend college; in his second year of college his father died suddenly of a heart attack, and his mother, an unskilled homemaker, had to take a labor-intensive job to make ends meet, and help Gary and his brother to complete college.  Garry graduated from Valparaiso in May 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biology.  In June 1981, Gary entered Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa; he was the Managing Editor of the Drake Law Review, and graduated in May 1984 with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree, with Honors.  In July 2003, Col Lambert was conferred with a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies at the US Army War College at “Carlisle Barracks” in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

On April, 6, 1979, while matriculating at Valparaiso University, Gary was sworn into the US Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Class Law  Program (PLC) at the US Marine Corps Recruiting Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.  During the summer after his sophomore year of college, he attended and graduated from the PLC Jr. Program in August 1979 at US Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia.  He then went back for the PLC Sr, Program in July 1980 and graduated from the PLC Program in August 1980.  Just after graduating from Valparaiso University, on May 28, 1981, Gary Lambert was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps Reserve.  Following Commissioning, in June 1981, 2nd Lt Lambert matriculated at Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa to continue in the Platoon Leaders Class Law Program.  On June, 1, 1983, 2ndLt Lambert was promoted to First Lieutenant.  He graduated with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree with Honors from Drake in May 1984.  In August 1984, 1st Lt Lambert reported to The Basic School (TBS) at the US Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia.  He completed TBS in February 1985, and reported for recruiting duty with the Officer Selection Officer, Des Moines, Iowa.  He then reported to the Naval Justice Law School (NJS) in Newport Rhode Island and graduated from NJS in May 1985.  

On May 18, 1985, he departed CONUS for Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan and was assigned as a Trial Counsel.  On August 12, 1985, 1st Lt Lambert was promoted to Captain; he returned to CONUS on May 27, 1986 and was assigned as a Criminal Defense Attorney at the US Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  His command was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation.   In August 1987 Captain Lambert completed his tour of active duty, and affiliated with the 25th Marine Regiment Headquarters at the Marine Corps Reserve Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.  From February 1991 to June 1991, Captain Lambert was involuntary recalled to extended active duty to Camp Lejeune in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm, and deployed to Norway with 25th Marines in support of NATO Exercise Battle Griffin ’91.  His Command received the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation.  From June thru July 1991, Captain Lambert completed Airborne Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, and received his Basic Parachutist Wings.  On August 18, 1992, Captain Lambert was assigned as an Infantry Officer as Executive Officer of a rifle company, 1st Battalion/25th Marine Infantry Regiment in Manchester, New Hampshire.  The company deployed to Norway in support of NATO Exercise Battle Griffin ‘93.  On June 17, 1993, Captain Lambert was promoted to Major, and in January 1994 was assigned as Assistant Operations Officer and Site Judge Advocate of the 25th Marines.  The Regimental Headquarters deployed to Norway in support of NATO Exercise Battle Griffin ’96.  

In January 1997, Major Lambert was assigned as the Intellectual Property Judge Advocate for the US Marine Corps, Judge Advocate Division Detachment, Headquarters US Marine Corps, Washington, DC; responsible for patent, trademark, and copyright  issues arising within the Marine Corps.  On July 1, 1998, Major Lambert was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.   In January 2000, Lt Col Lambert was assigned as Staff Judge Advocate and Staff Secretary for the II Marine Expeditionary Force Augmentation Command Element, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.   He was awarded with the Meritorious Service Medal.  In January 2003, he was mobilized and reported to Camp Lejeune as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, II Marine Expeditionary Force  in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  In February he was forward deployed to Stuttgart, Germany as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, Military Coordination, and Liaison Command as an element of US Central Command in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Lt Col Lambert returned to Camp Lejeune in May 2003.  On August 1, 2003, Lt Col Lambert was promoted to Colonel, and in September 2003 was assigned as Staff Judge Advocate for the II Marine Expeditionary Force Augmentation  Command Element at Camp Lejeune, NC.  

On July 10, 2004, Col Lambert deployed to Camp Victory in Baghdad, Iraqi in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate and, at times, the Acting Staff Judge Advocate to General George Casey, USA, Commanding General Multi-National Force Iraq.  He was also tasked as the President of the Combined Multi-National Force/Iraq Ministries of Justice, Interior and Human Rights’ Detainee Review Board.  He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and various Service and Campaign Medals.  He returned to CONUS on January 10, 2005.  In July 2005 he was assigned as a Branch Head, Manpower & Reserve Affairs, Headquarters, US Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA.  Col Lambert was awarded his second Meritorious Service Medal in June 2007, on his transfer to II Marines Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, NC.  In June 2007, Col Lambert was assigned as Assistant Chief of Staff, G-7 (Special Operations Training Group, Liaison Teams, Simulations, Consequence Management), II Marines Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, NC.  Since January 200, Col Lambert has been assigned as the Staff Judge Advocate, II Marine Expeditionary Force Detachment, Camp Lejeune, NC.  Col Lambert’s personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (Gold Star for 2nd Award), the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, various Service & Campaign Medals, and the Army’s Basic Parachute Wings. 

Following active duty, in August 1987, Gary accepted a position as an attorney in a mid-sized law firm in Boston.  In February 1989, Gary founded his own Law Firm of Lambert & Associates specializing in patents, trademarks, and copyright law & litigation, with offices in Nashua and Boston, MA. He is admitted to the Bar of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Iowa, and is a Registered Patent Attorney, licensed by the US Patent & Trademark Office in Washington, DC.  Gary has been admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire.  Gary was honored by the New Hampshire Bar Association in 2005 with a Distinguished Service to the Public Award for serving in the US military after 9/11.  In 2010, Gary was elected to represent District 13 in the New Hampshire State Senate.  He was the first Republican elected to represent the 13th  District in 94 years.   Gary was appointed to the Energy & Natural Resources, the Health & Human Services, and the Internal Affairs Senate Committees.  He did not run for reelection.  Gary has been endorsed by Congressman Charlie Bass (Ret), SgtMaj Paul Chevalier, USMC (Ret), and the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC.
