Opening Pitch at World Series in NYC After 9/11

  • Opening Pitch at World Series in NYC After 9/11

The George Bush Presidential Library was dedicated today----the below listed video is a reflection of a time in our country so long ago, when our President, like all Presidents up to that time, loved his country, didn’t hesitate to tell anyone in the world who would listen that he loved his country, and he brought the American people together---90 % of them supported him at that time.  We have a different type of person working in the Oval Office today, who refuses to admit we are being repeatedly attacked by Islamic jihadists in Times Square, in Fort Hood, in Benghazi, in Boston, and in Afghanistan----have you ever heard the current resident of the Oval Office say, just once, that he loves America?  I absolutely love my country and so do my fellow Naval Academy Classmates, my fellow Federal Law Enforcement Officers, and those men and women I served with in the US Armed Forces in far off lands for 30 years.

Derek Jeter and President Bush—the magnificent Yankee fans responding to the President Bush standing alone in the middle of the field like a lightning rod, letting all terrorists know Americans will play baseball whatever the threat may be, the opening pitch 12 years ago was magnificent—whether you voted for him or not, it was courageous and a unifying time in the history of the Republic.

This dramatic act of leadership united Americans at one of the most difficult periods in US history....unfortunately the leadership changed, and in order to remain in power, the current resident of the White House has been actively pitting Americans against each other, intentionally dividing the nation by pitting the have-nots against hard working successful Americans, and by reviving racism that had nearly been eliminated by the concerted effort of every other US President since President Lincoln, except for Obama.
