We continue in our sworn oath to protect and defend the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and “Domestic.”  This is the second article in a series of articles, in opposition to Obama and his Socialist allies in Congress’ full frontal assault on the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.  That mass murder which occurred in Newtown, Connecticut, occurred in the state with the strictest gun control laws in the nation.  The full background of the mentally deranged gunman who used a 9mm Glock Semi-Automatic handgun and a 9mm Sig Semi-Automatic handgun, and a Bushmaster 223 caliber Semi-Automatic rifle to murder 20 innocent children in Newtown.  Obama’s drive to force background checks on owners of Semi-Automatic Rifles, isto determine who possess the types of weapons that could oppose domestic tyranny. New anti-gun laws will not prevent future mass shootings in schools; local school boards should simply assign armed retired Police Officers to protect each school, like many of the larger cities already routinely do to protect their students.  Retired Police Officers received plenty of training with firearms and in how to deal with interpersonal relations. Faced with a threat, a police officer’s instinct is not to carelessly open fire---that is the “LAST” option, only if reasoning and negotiating have proven ineffective do they apply force. Students would interact with former policemen every day, and learn that Police Officers are not mean, but are mature and responsible authority figures armed with firearms to protect them; their presence would tear down tenets of the progressive orthodoxy.   

 Obama’s current campaign for national registration of all guns is fitting in perfectly with the anti-gun hysteria in the left of center liberal media establishment and with Obama’s Socialist allies in Congress who are supporting new restrictive anti-gun laws.  The newly proposed restrictive anti-gun legislation for universal background checks to get Americans to register their guns in a national registry won’t work because criminals and deranged gunmen will not comply, so universal background checks will never stop mass murderers. 

All law abiding citizens have already registered their guns locally with local law enforcement.  Obama’s initiative is an attempt to provide Attorney General, Eric Holder with a list of all gun owners in the nation who would have the type of weapons to oppose a domestic enemy.  This past week Vice President Biden admitted that the new anti-gun control laws being proposed and universal background checks proposed by the Obama Administration and Senator Feinstein will not prevent future mass killings.

Our investigation into the backgrounds on many of the unhinged gunmen who were involved in mass killings is truly revealing, because certain facts about their backgrounds have never been reported by the left of center liberal media establishment.  The first interesting fact is that mass murderers often have no criminal records at all.  Our investigation also revealed that they usually had a history of psychic disorders, that they often used mood altering drugs, were often revealed to be complainers, seemed to be full of resentment against those who appeared to be happy/or successful, and innumerable studies have found a correlation between their types of severe mental illness and the violent behavior that erupted into their rampages that resulted in mass killings over the past 25 years. Whenever a psychopath with a million warning signs commits a shocking mass murder, the knee-jerk reaction is to place more controls on guns that are already the most heavily regulated product in America---there are already 9000 laws on the books to control guns, but those laws are not enforced, especially in cities like Chicago and Washington DC.  New gun laws have never worked because they are only aimed at law abiding citizens and not a criminals and deranged gunmen who do not register their weapons!! Even if new laws could work---and they won’t---there are still subway tracks to throw people off of, machetes, bombs, knives, baseball bats, fists, etc. being used to kill people (The most deadly massacre at a school in US history was a bombing by a mentally disturbed man at an elementary school in Michigan in 1927) With just a single exception, the attack in Tucson last year, every public shooting in the U.S. in which more than three people had been killed since 1950 have occurred in a place where citizens are “not allowed” to carry their legally permitted firearms—they occurred in “gun free zones.” Had law abiding citizens been armed in those “gun free zones” with the guns they had previously registered locally, that they were legally permitted to possess, they may have been able to stop the mass killings before the police arrived on scene. The mass murderers knew no one else would have a gun to oppose them while they would be killing innocent people at will.

  • A 1997 high school shooting in Pearl, Miss., was halted by the school's vice principal after he retrieved the Colt .45 he kept in his truck.

  • A 1998 middle school shooting ended when a man living next door heard gunfire and apprehended the shooter with his shotgun.

  • A 2002 law school shooting in Grundy, Va., came to an abrupt conclusion when students carrying firearms confronted the shooter.

  • A 2007 mall shooting in Ogden, Utah, ended when an armed off-duty police officer intervened.

  • A 2009 workplace shooting in Houston, Texas, was halted by two coworkers who carried concealed handguns.

  • A 2012 church shooting in Aurora, Colo., was stopped by a member of the congregation carrying a gun.

  • At the recent mall shooting in Portland, Ore., the gunman took his own life minutes after being confronted by a shopper carrying a concealed weapon.

  2,500 times last year alone legal gun owners stopped violent crime when confronted with it long before any police assistance arrived ... Of course, you probably didn't know any of this because the left of center liberal media establishment never finds it worth reporting.  It's not sensational enough and doesn't fit with their agenda. What's insane is that the vast numbers of pre-conditioned Americans by the left of center liberal media establishment, believe removing gun rights from law abiding responsible gun owners, will somehow keep them safer from criminals and deranged gunmen—they believe the police will be able to protect them----in the overwhelming majority of cases the police respond long after the murders have been committed. 

Did you know that one of the major reasons the Japanese did not attempt to land troops on the American coast during World War Two was because they knew that Americans owned guns and would fight tooth and nail for every inch of shore line.  Now the Chinese Communist Government is aggressively supporting the Obama Administration’s gun control initiatives.
