Combat Veterans For Congress-----Embedded Integrity 

The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC is endorsing the 142nd endorsed Combat Veteran For Congress in 12 years; Sergeant Christopher R. Rodriguez, USMC of Oceanside, California is running for Congress in the 49th Congressional District of California.  Sgt Rodriguez has served his country proudly in the US Marine Cops for 4 and ½ years and is running for the seat of one term Congressman Mike Levin (D-CA-49).  He is a fiscally conservative candidate who will work to rein in the out of control spending by irresponsible Socialist Democrat members of Congress.  He will work toward reducing the national debt, support increasing the strength of the US military, will support Freedom of Speech & Religion, will support the 2nd Amendment’s Right to Bear Arms,  and support the Free Enterprise System to stimulate private sector business development.    

Sgt Rodriguez supports closing the wide open southern border, through which over 200,000 Illegal Aliens each month from over 160 countries have been entering the United States.  Pelosi and Levin oppose closing the wide open southern border and believe Illegal Aliens should be provided with food stamps, funds to cover their housing, given the right to vote, and be given free medical care, while 40 thousand American Veterans are sleeping on the streets with no housing, food stamps, or free medical care.  Levin has a voting record that is vehemently anti-business, anti-growth, and in favor of more regulations and taxes.  Mike Levin currently has a 62% score with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a 40% score with the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), and a 4% score with the National Taxpayers Union.  
Levin is on the far-left fringe of American politics and is completely out-of-step with North County San Diego and South Orange County values; he supports the far left Progressive/Socialist Caucus in the House of Representatives with Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).  They all support the sweeping “New Green Deal”, the partisan Socialist spending program proposed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, at a cost of $3.5 trillion, or approximately $240,000.00 per household, according to a study co-authored by the former director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.  That socialist spending spree that will raise taxes on working families, increase the cost of everyday goods, grants amnesty to Illegal Aliens, and supports the “defund the police” movement that has made communities and the places of business that encompass them very dangerous.

Levin and the four above listed Congresswomen are also proposing the elimination of all private and business health insurance, to be replaced by a government controlled Universal Health Care program, and according to the nonpartisan Mercatus Center at George Washington University, at a cost of $3.6 trillion, or $232,258 per household.  Levin voted against cutting any taxes, against closing the wide-open southern border where over 400,000 Illegal Aliens will enter the US in November 2021, voted to restrict gun rights granted by the 2nd Amendment, and voted to give 1.2 million Illegal Aliens amnesty, regardless of their criminal records.  Levin also voted for HR 5, the Equality Act, which eliminates civil right protections for women, eliminates the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, and allows males to unfairly compete with females in high school and college competitive sports.

Christopher Rodriguez was born on November 7, 1984 in Chicago, IL.  During his childhood, his family moved every other year to Florida, Arkansas, Indiana, Texas and finally settled in Des Moines, Iowa, where he spent his youth from age 11 to 17.  Christopher went to Valley West High School, played football, was on the wrestling team, and graduated in June 2001.  Christopher’s stepfather, LCpl Jack Olson, USMC, motivated him to join the US Marine Corps.

On September 11, 2001, because of the attack on the World Trade Center, Christopher Rodriguez enlisted in the US Marine Corps.  It was two days after his 17th birthday, when he reported to the Military Enlisted Processing Station (MEPS) in West Des Moines, Iowa.  His Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was determined to be engineering.  Christopher reported to boot camp training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on November 15, 2001.  PVT Christopher Rodriguez completed boot camp training on March 18, 2002, and on March 21st reported to Recruiter Assistance duty in Des Moines, IA.  

On April 25, 2002 PVT Rodriguez was promoted to Private First Class for his performance during Recruiter Assistance Duty.  On April 25, 2002, PFC Rodriquez reported to Marine Corps Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, CA and completed training on July 5, 2002.  PFC Rodriquez reported to Combat Engineer Training at Camp Lejeune, NC on July 16, 2002.  On August 30, 2002, PFC Rodriguez completed training, as the Honor Graduate, and was meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal.  Following MOS training, LCpl Rodriguez received orders to report to the 1st Engineer Battalion at Camp Pendleton on October 23, 2002.  

On February 4, 2003, LCpl Rodriguez deployed from Camp Pendleton in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom ONE via March Air Force Base Riverside with the 1st Engineering Battalion to Camp Coyote in Kuwait.  The invasion of Iraq was staged in Kuwait, the 1st Engineering Battalion was attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment; the invasion began on March 19, 2003.  The 1st Battalion was the first combat unit to enter Iraq and began combat operations one day prior to commencement of the actual invasion of Iraq.   

LCpl Rodriguez participated in 19 firefights from Kuwait to Baghdad during the ensuing weeks, before ultimately participating in the battle for control of Baghdad in April 2003, they took control and secured Saddam Hussein's Presidential Palace.  On July 15, 2003, LCpl Rodriguez was promoted to Corporal.  The Battalion continued combat patrol operation thru October 2003; the 1st Battalion was relieved and deployed back to CONUS aboard USS Anchorage (LPD-23), arriving at Camp Pendleton on November 5, 2003.  Cpl Rodriguez was awarded with the Combat Action Ribbon, and various Service, and Campaign Medals for Combat action.

On February 15, 2004, Cpl Rodriguez deployed from Camp Pendleton in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom TWO via March Air Force Base Riverside with the 1st Engineering Battalion to Camp Baharia, Iraq on the shores of a manmade lake (Saddam Hussein and his sons Uday and Qusay once lounged on the shores of Camp Baharia's palm-lined, manmade lake).  The 1st Engineering Battalion was attached to the 2nd Battalion 1st Marine Regiment, Cpl Rodriguez was attached to Echo Company.  

Cpl Rodriguez was involved in Operation Vigilant Resolve, the Battle for Fallujah.  Marines of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment alongside the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment cordoned off the city of Fallujah, then for 30 days, engaged in fierce daily firefights with Radical Islamic Terrorist forces.  Cpl Rodriguez was one of 53 wounded Marines attached to Echo Company; on April 26, 2004, Cpl Rodriguez was wounded during a firefight by the detonation of an RPG.  Cpl Rodriguez was promoted to Sergeant on July 1, 2005, and deployed back to CONUS, arriving on September 15, 2004.  Sgt Rodriguez was awarded with a Purple Heart Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, a second Combat Action Ribbon, and various Service, and Campaign Medals for Combat action.

Sergeant Rodriguez has tattooed on his arm the names of the 3 US Marines from his platoon who died in his arms and he works every day to honor their memory and sacrifice they made for the United States of America.  Following Operation Iraqi Freedom TWO Sgt Rodriguez was sent to Martial Arts Instructor Schooling as the designated instructor for 1st Combat Engineer Battalion responsible for training and academic schedule; he graduated from Instructor schooling on February 18, 2005.  Sgt Rodriguez managed 1st Combat Engineer Battalion Marine Corps Martial Arts training schedule as Chief Instructor from March 2005 until he was Honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps.

Sgt Christopher Rodriguez, USMC was Honorably Discharged on March 17, 2006 while stationed at Camp Pendleton after serving 4 and ½ years in the US Marine Corps.  His awards include the Purple Heart Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Combat Action Ribbon (Bronze Star for 2nd award), the Navy and Marine Corps Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (Bronze Star for 2nd award), and various Service and Campaign Medals.

After being Honorably Discharged from the U S Marine Corps Christopher settled down in Oceanside and obtained his real estate license in 2006; in 2007, he founded Maximum Mortgage & Real Estate, Inc, a mortgage, real estate, and property management company, as its President and CEO.  The new business grew rapidly.  Within 3 years, based upon sales volume, Christopher was considered by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals as one of the top 250 Latino real estate professional in the nation.   

Through success in real estate Christopher got much more engaged in local issues.  In 2010, he became a Board Member of the Oceanside Chamber Of Commerce.  The Chamber worked on many issues facing local businesses in Oceanside and worked to improve relationships between small businesses and the City of Oceanside.  In 2017, because of his association with the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Christopher attended a six month Political Leadership Institute Course through the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.  

Then in 2018, Christopher ran a political campaign to be elected to represent District 2 on the Oceanside City Council; he won that election by 15 points.  Oceanside is the largest city in the 49th Congressional District.  Christopher has been fighting for his community while serving as a member of the Oceanside City Council where he has pushed for lower taxes, and common-sense solutions to fix the homeless crisis plaguing California cities.  

Through his success in real estate, Christopher purchased a farm in South Morro Hills which he manages with his wife Sarah. They grow guava, passion fruit, avocados, and coffee which they sell locally under the Rodriguez Family Farms brand.  The Rodriguez family is a busy household with Christopher and his wife Sarah, their 7 children, 4 dogs, and pot-bellied pig named Bacon.  Christopher is a life member of the VFW, a member of the NRA, the American Legion, the AMVETS, The Marine Corps League, and a member of San Diego County Gun Owners.  He was the elected official of the year in 2021 by the San Diego County Gun Owners.  Christopher is the only Republican candidate in CA selected by the National Republican Congressional Committee as a member of the “Young Guns”.
