The damage that John Murtha has done to the moral of patriotic US Marines in combat, by accusing them of cold blooded murder in Haditha Iraq; that accusation was proved to be false in their courts martial Murtha instigated; he never apologized for the hell he put those patriotic US Marines thru.  Now he is encouraging the President not to send the 40,000 combat personnel required to provide for the security for the combat personnel fighting in Afghanistan.  Somehow he has become a vindictive old man who is intent on damaging our military personnel.  Kindly read the article below.  

Murtha is also impairing the medical welfare of senior citizens in the twilight of their lives by voting for the flawed Socialized Public Health Care Bill that will ration medical care for senior citizens, cost over $1.064 trillion, raise the deficit, raise taxes on all Americans, raise insurance premiums for all Americans, fine/tax Americans who can’t afford to purchase health insurance, cut MEDICARE that is already bankrupt by $500 billion, add new layers of bureaucracy to bloated government, and provide medical coverage for 20 million Illegal Aliens  (Because it is “public”, federal law requires all residents to be covered whether legal or illegal residents).

LtCol Russell served in Operation Desert Storm as the Commander of a Mechanized Infantry Training Company in northern Saudi Arabia; during his tours in the Balkans he served in Southern Hungary, Bosnia, Croatia, and Kosovo.  Both he and his wife, Kasia, who was 6 months pregnant, were in the Pentagon on 9/11 when it was hit by a hijacked aircraft; after seeing Kasia out of the building to safety, he participated in the rescue and recovery operations.  During his tour with the 1st Infantry Division (I/D) in Iraq in 2004-2005, LtCol Russell served as the Division Force Protection Officer.  Based out of Tikrit, he worked with the Commanders and soldiers of the 32 forward operating bases in the areas of operations, successfully preventing any car and individual suicide bombers from penetrating the base gates and perimeters.  He also participated in squad level combat operations with the soldiers of the 1-4 CAV in Ad-Dallujah and served as the 1/D Liaison Officer to the 1st Marine Division during the battle of Fallujah in November 2004.   Lt. Col. Russell’s career spans over 28 years of service in the US Army, the Army Reserves, and the National Guard; he is the recipient of the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star.
