The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC is endorsing the 75th Combat Veteran For Congress; he is a fiscally conservative candidate who will work to rein in the out of control spending by Congress and the Obama Administration; he is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Cpl Donald N. Chamberlain, USMC (R-AL-7) http://donchamberlain.me/index.html Selma, Alabama served in the US Marine Corps for 2 years and is running for Congress in the 7th Congressional District of Alabama and plans on developing a job based projects in the private sector to assist the 50,245 unemployed and the 270,000 residents living below the poverty level in the 7th Congressional District.  Donald is running for a seat held by Congresswoman Terri Sewell (D-AL-7) who has voted with Pelosi 97% of the time, is a Pro-Choice Democrat, and has contributed to the irresponsible out of control spending by the Congress.   Donald Chamberlain was born in Montgomery Alabama on October 28, 1946.  He obtained a high school diploma from Albert Parrish High School in Selma Alabama in June 1965.  Donald Chamberlain then matriculated at Livingston University in Livingston, Alabama from 1966 to 1968 before enlisting in the US Marine Corps in August 1968.  Upon being honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps in 1970, he attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major in June 1973.  
 

Donald Chamberlain was sworn into the US Marine Corps at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama on August 28, 1968.  PVT Chamberlain entered boot camp at the US Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Paris Island, SC and completed boot training in January 1969 and shipped out from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina with Alfa Company to Camp Pendleton, California.  In February 1969 he deployed to Da Nang, South Vietnam as rifleman with Alfa Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Division; his unit was involved in the 1969 Tet Counter Offensive from February 23, 1969 to June 8, 1969.  In August 1969 he received a battlefield promotion to Corporal.  His unit returned to Camp Lejeune In March 1970.  For Combat Duty Cpl Chamberlain was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/palm, and various service and campaign medals.  He served on 6 months of Med Cruise Training, and after 2 years of active duty, on August 28, 1970 Cpl Donald Chamberlain, USMC was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps, and returned to Selma, Alabama.  Cpl Chamberlain was assigned to the Inactive Ready Reserve thru 1976.   

Since graduation from the University of Alabama, Don has spent a lifetime working in various industries and companies such as Interval, Inc. in Mobile, AL as President and Managing Director; Chamberlain Technologies in Spanish Fort, AL as President, Dayton Power and Electric in Aberdeen, Ohio; Jeffrey Energy Center in St Mary’s, KS, and Powerplant Maintenance Specialists, Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA where he brought advancing technology products to market.  He has traveled around the world helping companies bring state-of-the-art solutions to the United States.  His efforts have helped transform processes in the shipbuilding industry, pulp & paper industry, and in power generation.  In 1988 and 1989, Don’s work with technology to improve the power generation and the automotive aftermarket industries led to his being awarded two US Patents on products specific for these two industries. 

Don is in Who’s Who of American Inventors, is a member of the VFW, the NRA, the Shiloh Baptist Church in Sardis, and has been a US Congressional candidate from Alabama in 1994, 2002, and in 2010.   Don has been endorsed by Operation Black Storm, Change for The Better Congress PAC, Rolls Royce o New Orleans Louisiana, the Alabama State GOP Republican Party, L&L Industrial, Western Republicans of Tuscaloosa County, Women's Republicans of Tuscaloosa County, Marengo County Republican Executive Committee, Sumpter County Republican Executive Committee, Dallas County Republican Executive Committee, Hale County Republican Executive Committee, and Western Jefferson County Executive Committee.  Don has raised three stepsons; Jarred Allen Jackson (an Iraqi Combat Veterans who is presently serving with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC); Spencer Jackson matriculating at DeVry University; and Evan Shane Jackson.
